On New Year's Day 1907, Dr. and Mrs. Wesley Wilbur Beckett celebrated their 25th anniversary with a lavish reception in their recently completed house in West Adams Heights; 2218 South Harvard Boulevard still stands in what later came to be called Sugar Hill, much the worse for wear but said in 2015 to have found a purchaser with plans for a major restoration.
